Tracy Flynn is a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) who earned her degree from New York University’s Silver School of Social Work. With a deep commitment to mental health and well-being, she has experience working with adolescents in middle and high school settings, supporting individuals in therapeutic residences for substance use recovery, and counseling young adults navigating anxiety, depression, and life transitions.
Tracy believes in the transformative power of connection in therapy. Utilizing a psychodynamic approach through an attachment lens, she helps clients identify and shift behaviors that no longer serve them. Her therapeutic work focuses on fostering self-awareness, emotional healing, and personal growth, guiding individuals to embrace their humanity and recognize their inherent worth. She also equips clients with essential life skills, including self-love, communication, boundaries, assertiveness, anger management, and strategic problem-solving.
Before pursuing her passion for social work, Tracy was an Emmy Award-winning Producer, creating impactful content for ABC News, the Discovery Channel, and Home and Garden Television. Her background in media storytelling informs her empathetic and insightful approach to understanding human experiences.
In addition to her professional work, Tracy volunteers as a Crisis Counselor with the Crisis Text Line, a global nonprofit providing free, confidential mental health support and crisis intervention.
A proud native New Yorker, Tracy finds balance through yoga, sailing, gardening, and running with her beloved rescue Goldendoodle, Jasper.
